Henry went his new home in Ferndale today. I am sure he is happy but I also hope he misses me or wonders where I am. I miss him. This is my favorite pic of him. Shanna took it while I was at work one day. 

It looks like we found someone who is interested in Henry. That's right. We are going to give him away. I can't take him for walks like I used to and Shanna does her best but isn't able to give him much time during the day. We found a couple in Ferndale with some 7 acres and another dog that are happy to have him. It is one of the saddest things I have ever had to do but I know it is best for him and he will be happy having a buddy and a big farm to run on. My surgery is scheduled for May 12th. I will miss him but it will be difficult enough trying to take care of Emma and myself as Shanna returns to work on the 16th. I love him but I don't think I could handle him for a month when I will be back on crutches. I am looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend. It will be a good time.

Awwwwww who am I kidding? Work is still crappy and boring. I switched to a later shift too. More money but I am working 12:30-9. That means I get home at almost 10, go to bed at 12 and sleep til almost 11 to ensure a decent amount of sleep thanks to Emma. I could say I have a full life and I guess this would be true. But I could also say I have a full backyard. What is it full of? Ask Henry. At least I am able to work. I got my brace yesterday. It cost over $1200 so I guess I should be thankful for insurance too. There are worse ways to earn money but some of them are really easy and awfully tempting.

It has been almost three weeks since my last post. I was busy. I saved two kids from a burning building, helped at a fun run for toenail cancer, and played a lot of World of Warcraft. Well, I did one of the three. Actually I have also been hanging out with my FAMILY. Weird, but I actually have my own family now. I guess technically Shanna and I were a family before, but it really seems like it now. Mom, Dad, Daughter, and Dog. Yup, that is a bona fide family. There have been some requests for more pics of Emma. We have em but I have charged Shanna with the task of telling me which ones she wants to share. Once she does I will post them. That is my excuse.
I am waiting on my insurance to clear everything so I can get on with my surgery as well as a brace for my leg. This is the 5th week I have been off work and I am anxious to get and start earning some money.
Emma hasn't been too difficult to deal with. I guess she is a good baby. She really only cries when it is time to be changed or eat. Other than that she is rather quiet, although she does squeak a lot. She sleeps a lot and that means that Shanna and I can also. Unfortunately she doesn't sleep between 1 and 3 in the morning. So a full nights sleep is possible but it starts between 10 and 11 and ends 12 hours later. So far we have taken her to church, grandparents', Alderwood Mall, Costco, and even our buddies' down in North Seattle. Pretty good considering I am all gimped up right now. I don't want to just keep typing until I have nothing left to say but I think I just did. Maybe it will be less than 3 weeks before I have more to say. -Later
