Slow and steady wins the race. Although it sure is slow.
I did a 15 minute mile yesterday. Not to impressive but I am proud none the less. If you consider that when I started walking I had a limp and it took me 46 minutes to do two miles. My goal is to be able to get under 10 minutes but I am not too sure if that will be possible without a bit of jogging. Since running isn't permitted by my doctor I'll have to wait until I can shed the necessary weight, have surgery, rehab and then continue. Someday I would like to be able to jog the whole thing. I know it is possible but it is a pretty lofty goal. For now I will settle with where I am at. I have been able to maintain my weight the past week even with the trip to Seaside but I haven't lost any more. Could be that I am putting on a bit of muscle but who knows. I have added a lot of arm reps and both push ups and crunches to my routine. We will have to see how it goes. I will keep you posted. Thanks for your continued support.
In unrelated news Emma is now pulling herself up to standing from sitting if she had something to hold onto. I predict crawling, standing, and even walking all within 7 mo but no pressure kid.
