Today Emma and I went to Costco. While I was busy shopping she decided to take care of an important phone call. She called her Great Grandma G.G.(nickname) and had a very animated 15 minute call. At this point Grandma is thinking "I don't remember any phone call." Don't worry you aren't going senile she didn't actually dial. She picked up my phone, opened it and started talking. She was talking all about her favorite things and waving her other hand wildly around in animated gestures just like her mom does. The name G.G. popped up every couple minutes and at one point she offered the phone to me and yelled out her name. G.G. Obviously wanted to speak to me. Emma went on and on about The Little Mermaid, Grandpa, Elmo, Shrek, puppies, and kitties. All her favorite things. She was completely oblivious to the people around her hamming it up and pointing at how cute she was. Knowing her she probably just chose to ignore them because this kid doesn't miss much. She really looked like it was all business. Maybe next time I will actually dial the phone for her since I am sure G.G. would love a real call.
